European Vacation
Switzerland | France | England | Sanjay's Wedding
When our friend Sanjay invited us to his wedding in London in Summer 2002, we decided to make a whole vacation out of it. We visited friends in Basel, Switzerland and in Paris, France staying a week with each and ending up in London for a week-long Indian wedding celebration.
Switzerland
We had a wonderful time with friends Chris, Catherine and the twins. They were our home base for travelling the cities of the Confoederatio Helvetica.
France
We stayed at our friend Jean-Pierre's place in le Peq, a suburb of Paris, but hardly saw him until the toga party at the end of the week.
England | Sanjay & Mahika's Wedding
The final week was what we originally came for—Sanjay and Mahika's wedding—but that didn't keep us from sightseeing in London (and Bath).
