On the ferry crossing the Rhine. These ferries are pretty neat. There is no motorized power involved. There is a cable crossing the river and the ferry is attached to it. When ready to cross, the ferryman simply shifts the rudder and uses the strong currents of the Rhine to send the ferry across.
