Okay, I think this is one of my favorite things about Switzerland. In train stations, airports, shopping malls or other high-density public places you might find a McClean. These are extremely clean public toilets with entirely private toilet stalls in a neat row, fresh urinals and shower facilities.
Lights that resemble "stop/go" signs outside the cubicles tell you if the toilet is occupied or free. Inside the stalls you'll find a nice little wet wipe, and the moment you leave, there's an attendant that comes and cleans the stall. There's a nice little shop/counter that sells soap, shampoo etc. It only costs two Swiss francs for a booth (or just one if men just want a urinal).
I'd happily pay $1.20 to use a bathroom this clean and well maintained in the States.
