Ballenberg is a neat "living" museum—and no, in this case, the museum is not "really old", but it is filled with really old buildings.

There's a historical preservation effort to save samples of the different regional Swiss architecture, particularly of traditional village homes and buildings. Ballengerg is acres of these buildings moved there from all over Switzerland.
