At last, we made it to the towers of Notre Dame. It's a tight, winding spiral staircase all the way to the top. The caretakers actually shoo you along the path to make room for more people to come up. That worked to our advantage because it was too tight to pass people and we had to meet someone across town in abut 15 minutes.
