We took the better part of the day getting to Versailles—which we didn't have to do, but we couldn't find the bus from le Peq that went directly there. So instead we took the RER into Paris to transfer lines to another RER back out to Versailles.

It was unbelievably hot that day and the train to Versailles was even hotter. By the time we got to Versailles, we were so grumpy and bothered by the crowds that we just took a quick look, said, "yes, pretty," and headed home.
