There certainly wasn't enough time to cover Paris by ourselves, and we'll have to go back when Jean-Pierre has more free time; but it was time to head to London. After all, no one was going to hold up the wedding for us—granted everything about the wedding would start late, but not for our benefit (more on that later).
Our first day in England we actually headed out to the town of Bath. For every Brit that heard we were headed to Bath we heard, "Oh! Bath is lovely!" And it was.
We returned to London the next evening and had one night's rest before the Indian wedding whirlwind. You'll see that there's far fewer London tourist shots than there are Switzerland and Paris shots. By the time we got to London, I was tired of snapping obligatory pictures of the standard tourist spots. Also, we spent a lot of time touring on the city busses and it was just too hard to get a lot of shots from a moving car.
