Graffiti tagging was a problem everywhere we went in Europe. London was the first place where I saw interspersed amongst the grafitti, guerrilla art. Though technically still public defacement, it does at least serve a purpose. It attempts to send a message to the viewer—one other than the visual equivalent of a canine piss marking.
